We are partnered with the Bloomington Animal Shelter to find each cat their furever home!
The adoption process is done online and can be completed in as little as a few hours.
Below are all the resources you may need to complete this process.
2 Turtle Dove
2 Turtle Dove is a 4 year old female who has been in our lounge since 1/24/25. Our nickname for her is Peach. She likes to play and can get pretty crazy while doing so. Her favorite toys are springs. She had a rough past so at first she was very feral and scared. We have been working with her, showing her how affection works. Now, she will accept pets and even be held a bit- on her own terms. 2 Turtle Dove wants to be your new best friend!
Finnegan
Finnegan is a 10 year old male who has been in our lounge since 3/9/25. He is a handsome fluffy dude who will follow you around, seeking your attention. He is definitely a lap cat and loves lots of pets. We recommend that he goes to a quiet home with no other pets. Finnegan is patiently waiting for the right fit!
Willow & Daisy
Willow & Daisy are 10 year old female sisters who have been in our lounge since 5/5/25. They are both so sweet and chill. They enjoy being around people. These girls are ready to find their furever home!
Phoenix
Phoenix is a 1 year old female who has been in our lounge since 5/9/25. She has been an indoor/outdoor cat and would enjoy finding a home with her brother Georgie but it’s not required. Phoenix is eager to find someone amazing!
Georgie
Georgie is a 1 year old male who has been in our lounge since 5/9/25. He has been in an indoor/outdoor cat and would enjoy finding a home with his sister Phoenix but it’s not required. Georgie will be a great buddy!
Tree
Tree is a 1 year old male who has been in our lounge since 5/18/25. He is more reserved but slowly warming up. We can tell he will soon want lots of love. Tree is ready to find the best fit!
Gilda
Gilda is a 5 year old female who has been in our lounge since 5/18/25. She recently had kittens so she is relaxing now. This sweet girl is so affectionate and is very much a lap cat. Gilda is excited to go home with you!
Skinny Scatty
Skinny Scatty is a 1 year old female who has been in our lounge since 5/18/25. She is outgoing and playful. She has a unique look that helps us tell her apart from the other tabbies. Skinny Scatty is excited to meet her partner in crime!
Penelope
Penelope is a 3 year old female who has been in our lounge since 5/25/25. She loves feather toys and lasers. You will surely be entraced by her wide eyed gaze. Penelope wants to find furever!
Step-By-Step
1. Book a reservation to meet the cats at the café and find the one that’s right for you.
2. Let a Btown Meow employee know which cat you are interested in adopting. We will take you through the aplication process from there. Some adoptions can be processed at our cafe, some have to be done at the shelter. It varies case by case. You may apply for multiple cats, and adoptions are approved on a first come first serve basis. The standard adoption fee is $90.
The adoption fee includes the following services:
- The first round of age appropriate vaccinations, including de-worming
- Feline Leukemia/FIV testing
- A free office visit with most veterinarians in Monroe County
- Microchip identification
- Spay/Neuter surgery
- A temporary cat carrier
*They accept Cash, Check, ApplePay, Debit and Credit Cards (Visa and MasterCard).*
3. If your application is aproved, you will then recieve adoption counseling and sign the contract. You will be provided with a small bag of food for dietary transition. (Please keep in mind that Btown Meow does NOT make decisions on the adoption process, and all application questions must be discussed with the Bloomington Animal Care & Control.)
4. Once the adoption process is completed, you can bring home your new friend!
